Start with the prize plan, then choose the layout

A key prize machine with more positions gives you more places to present prizes. It does not, by itself, prove higher earnings, a larger usable prize size or a more reliable mechanism. The useful comparison starts with what you want to display and how your team will replenish it.

In a supplied product demonstration, the presenter describes 9-position and 15-position versions. The demonstrated cabinet is described as 15 positions, arranged in three rows of five, at approximately 00:18–00:35. The video shows the target array and moving key mechanism. It does not demonstrate the dimensions or internal layout of the 9-position version. Treat the two formats as configurations to confirm, rather than assuming they share one cabinet.

Separate target positions from stored prize capacity

Write down the prize or prize category intended for each target. Then ask how that target connects to the displayed item and how an awarded prize is retrieved. A target count is not a confirmed inventory capacity. The demonstration does not establish how many replacement items can be stored behind each target.

For example, an operator could allocate a 15-position display across several prize categories. That is an assortment plan, not a claim that the machine holds any particular quantity or size of merchandise. Use actual sample packaging when checking fit; a photograph of an attractive prize is not a clearance measurement.

Match variety to the person doing the refills

A larger choice of prizes also creates more positions to inspect, label and keep presentable. Before selecting the larger format, identify who will check empty positions, damaged packaging and display consistency. An unattended location still needs a service routine.

Request a demonstration of normal front access and the refill sequence. Have the presenter show how a staff member identifies a depleted position, restores the display and returns the cabinet to service. Record the required access space and any tools. The supplied video shows the cabinet interior, but it does not establish a refill time or an automatic stock alert.

Check every target rather than accepting one successful play

The demonstration includes a short play attempt, followed by a closer view of the moving key and guide assemblies. That is useful for understanding the mechanism; it is not a complete acceptance test of all positions. Ask for an agreed test covering the entire target array on the machine being shipped.

Record the target identifier, observed movement, completion result and any adjustment made. A test should make uneven alignment or inconsistent return movement visible without inventing a universal tolerance. Obtain the manufacturer’s acceptance criteria and settings in writing before signing off.

Questions that should be answered before the deposit

  • Which exact 9- or 15-position version appears on the quotation and packing documents?
  • What prize dimensions and weights are supported by the actual prize presentation and retrieval arrangement?
  • What are the cabinet dimensions, access clearance, supply voltage, rated power and payment options for that version?
  • How are the controls and game settings documented, and what checks are required for the destination?
  • Which alignment parts and service instructions are supplied, and how are replacements identified?

Does the 15-position version earn more?

The supplied demonstration provides no revenue, utilization, player conversion or site comparison data. More positions can support a broader presentation, but earnings depend on venue demand, prize appeal, pricing, operating rules and service availability. Compare those inputs in a pilot before scaling an order.

For a useful inquiry, send the destination country, quantity, preferred format and a few example prizes. If the format is undecided, describe the venue and refill routine. The next useful output is a confirmed configuration and test plan, not an unsupported income estimate.
