Choose a cup specification, then a magazine load

Ice cream vending machine cups need an accepted geometry and a complete serving demonstration. The supplier reference lists up to 200 plastic cups or 300 paper cups, with the exact cup specifications unresolved. Paper or plastic is the first sorting field, not the purchasing specification.

Obtain the equipment supplier’s drawing and reference sample. Record rim, height, base, taper, nesting characteristics, product code, material declaration and lot. Pair the compatibility evaluation with the destination review of the material documents.

Run labeled samples on the quoted magazine

The equipment supplier loads and operates the proposed magazine with each labeled sample group. Keep the cabinet and magazine revision, software, actual load and opening recipe with the log. The demonstration should include cup release, base, sauce, topping and customer collection.

Record no-release, multiple-release, distortion, spill and any operator intervention alongside successful servings. If a guide, sample or setting changes, identify the next run separately. The resulting record shows the exact sample and configuration that completed the cycle.

  • Sample: manufacturer; product code; lot; drawing; material records.
  • Load: accepted stack arrangement; actual count; magazine configuration.
  • Result: cup release; positioning; complete serving; collection; intervention.
  • Decision: accepted for this configuration; revise and retest; unsuitable; document review outstanding.

Include the finished menu item

An empty cup can release correctly while leaving insufficient room for the intended base, sauce and toppings. Use the actual recipe and observe the completed serving, positioning and handling through collection. Retain recipe settings with the sample record.

For a hypothetical branded paper-cup order, a changed rim on the printed version makes it a different sample from the unprinted cup previously evaluated. The bulk supply needs the actual accepted specification, including printing and material records.

Connect sample approval to repeat orders

The bulk order should identify the accepted cup code, drawing revision, sample and magazine setting. Require notice of changes to rim, nesting, taper, material or printing, and retain the equipment supplier’s alternate-consumables support terms.

Compare incoming lot identity with that record. Track feed problems in the pilot using the same result categories, so the cup and machine suppliers can investigate a repeat-order issue without losing the original configuration.
