Arcade and Vending Machine Shipping Dimensions: A Package Data Sheet

01Collect freight data at package level

For an arcade or vending machine shipping quote, provide package count, external dimensions, gross weight, origin and the named receiving point. Cabinet dimensions belong in the venue layout; packed dimensions belong in the freight sheet. Calculate cubic metres only after identifying each package and its axis order.

Many supplied sheets give cabinet size and machine weight, while freight needs outer package size and gross weight. The nail kiosk also has an assembled-versus-packed height discrepancy to resolve. Separate those questions early so the logistics offer uses the shipment rather than the showroom dimensions.

02Use a freight data worksheet

Give each package an ID linked to its equipment line. Record whether accessories, signs, spare parts or consumables share the crate or travel separately. Ask for the current packing drawing and a supplier confirmation of dimensions and weights. Include units and axis order so a freight party can read the data consistently.

Provide the exact receiving location and describe unloading constraints. Ask the freight party which additional handling information is needed. A delivery to a port, warehouse or shop can have different responsibilities and local costs; the quote should name the intended scope.

• Handling questions: permitted orientation; stacking status; handling points; separate parts; special transport review needed.
• Route fields: origin handover point; named destination; receiving access; unloading owner; local delivery and installation scope.

03Calculate volume without inferring container fit

For a rectangular package, cubic metres equal length × width × height in metres. Show the dimensions beside the calculation. Freight volume helps with the quote, while stacking, door clearance and load arrangement depend on the actual package plan.

Hypothetical example: two packages measuring 1.2 × 1.0 × 2.0 m total 4.8 cubic metres. The loading plan also needs each package’s weight and stacking status. Keeping those fields together helps the freight party compare volume with the practical handling arrangement.

04Resolve disassembly and shipment contents

If the supplier proposes removing a sign or securing a moving playfield, request the documented method and reassembly responsibilities. Do not assume a lower packed height demonstrates safe transport or that every moving component has been secured. Ask for evidence matched to the shipment configuration.

Consumables such as inks or ingredients may need separate information from the appropriate suppliers and logistics reviewer. Provide the actual identities and documents for professional classification. Do not choose a transport category, customs code or declaration from the machine title alone.

05Package data row

Record: package ID; equipment line and quantity; contents; confirmed outer length, width and height with units; gross weight; volume; stacking status supplied by the responsible party; drawing revision; origin; named delivery point; unloading constraint. Mark every estimate provisional until its measurement and scope are confirmed.

06Keep quote scope and version together

Attach the freight offer to the packing revision it uses. When dimensions, package counts or destination details change, ask which charges and booking assumptions need updating. Distinguish a budget indication from a current accepted transport offer.

The package sheet connects every crate with its machine line and receiving point. It helps the supplier provide complete data and the freight party price the intended scope, including accessories or supplies that travel separately.
